Registration and Initial Warm-Up: The First 48–72 Hours

Register WhatsApp on Mobile Data: 72-Hour Warm-Up Without Software

Goal of this stage: look like an ordinary real person to Meta's algorithms — someone who has just installed the messenger.

This is where the second-largest share of accounts fail — right after choosing a bad SIM.
The rules are simple, but you should not break a single one of them.

Stage 0. Preparation Before Registration

Device

If you bought the phone second-hand, don't know its history, or WhatsApp was previously blocked on it — perform a factory reset without exception.

WhatsApp indirectly analyzes the device fingerprint: previous blocks, behavioral patterns, network fingerprints. A reset reduces the risk of correlation with previously banned accounts.

What must be on the device before registration:

  • A real IMEI (not modified)
  • At least 5–10 real contacts saved in the phone book
  • Only the official app installed — WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business

No mods: GBWhatsApp, FMWhatsApp, WhatsApp Plus, or similar. Despite marketing claims of "anti-ban" protection, these apps run on unverified third-party code. Meta recognizes them by signature and bans them faster than the official client.

Multiple Accounts on One Phone

If you register several numbers in a row on the same device:

  • After each registration: uninstall the app → toggle airplane mode on/off (IP change) → reinstall
  • Do not perform more than 2–3 registrations from one device within 24 hours

If the Phone Is Dual-SIM

Working setup: SIM 1 → WhatsApp, SIM 2 → WhatsApp Business (or the reverse).
Important: do not create two completely different personas on one device. Similar names, related (but not identical) avatars, one organization — that's fine. Two unrelated personas — higher suspicion.

Stage 1. Registration

Network: mobile data only from the same SIM card you are registering. No Wi-Fi — especially if other accounts that were ever banned used that network.

VPN and proxies must be completely excluded at this stage.

Steps:

  1. Install the official WhatsApp / WhatsApp Business
  2. Enter the number → receive SMS or a call → confirm the code
  3. Grant the app access to contacts
  4. Fill out the profile immediately: a real (or neutral) name + a live photo (not a stock image from the internet, not a logo). An empty profile and an overfilled one are equally bad.

📌 After registration, do not change networks, do not change IP, do not move the account to another device. Switching devices during the "hot" period almost guarantees a ban.

Stage 2. Stabilization (Immediately After Registration, 2–3 Hours)

Right after completing the profile:

  • Connect the phone to a charger
  • Set the longest screen auto-lock timeout (or enable developer mode → "keep screen on while charging")
  • Leave WhatsApp open for 2–3 hours

This mimics new-user behavior: reading the interface, exploring menus, the app active in the background. To the algorithm — a live person.

Stage 3. First 48–72 Hours — Initial Warm-Up

WhatsApp's main trust signal is incoming messages + a high Response Ratio. A number that only sends outbound messages and gets no replies is a spam-bot trigger.

Day 1 (24 Hours After Registration — Not Before)

  • Open the app, stay online for 2–3 minutes, tap through settings
  • From the new number, message 1–2 warmed personal accounts (numbers must be saved in the phone book)
  • Send 2–3 natural messages ("Hi, this is me on my new number," etc.)
  • Get a substantive reply from the old account
  • React with an emoji to the incoming message — bots don't do this; to the algorithm it's a sign of a real person

Day 2

  • Now the reverse: trusted old accounts message the new number first
  • 3–5 conversations per day, 5–6 back-and-forth replies in each (not templates)
  • Send 1 voice note (5–10 seconds) and 1 image — bots rarely send media during warm-up; it's an extra signal of a live user
  • Add the new number to 1 active group chat (family, colleagues), read messages, send one of your own

Day 3

  • Repeat the Day 2 pattern, increasing conversations to 7–10
  • Post one Status (story) — text or photo. Spam bots never use Status; it's a clear signal of a live account

Daily norm: 5–15 actions without repeating templates and without long monotonous sessions.

What Is Strictly Forbidden in the First 3 Days

Prohibition Why
❌ Messaging numbers not in your contacts Main spam-system trigger
❌ Sending links Even to your company website or social media
❌ Copy-pasting the same text to 2+ recipients Detected instantly
❌ Scanning a QR code for third-party services, CRM, bulk panels Only after 7+ days of manual warm-up
❌ Changing device or IP Interpreted as account hijacking
❌ Running any software Strictly after full warm-up

If You Have Multiple Accounts at Once

  • 1–3 accounts — manual mode, WhatsApp Web is enough
  • 3–15 accounts — you need a browser warm-up system (covered in upcoming modules)
  • Dozens and hundreds — warm-up via real Android devices

Core Logic

WhatsApp trusts behavior, not words.

You don't need to disguise yourself or "trick the system" — that's a losing strategy: Meta's algorithms update constantly, and any bypass technique eventually stops working.
You simply need to behave like an ordinary user. Slow, boring, reliable.
